- DIY fix of the month — a repair or upgrade you did yourself, with before and after.
- Garage of the month — your car, your build, your project in progress.
- Best car story — 300 words or a short video about a car that mattered to you.
Prizes
Prizes are paid in USD by digital payment or gift card. The prize pool is funded by reader support and sponsors; sponsored months may carry bigger prizes, announced on this page.

Upload to any service you like and paste a viewable link in the entry form.
3. Judging
Our panel scores every entry in the first week of the next month.
4. Winners
Winners are emailed and announced here within 14 days of the close.
Official rules (summary)
No purchase or payment is necessary to enter or win. This is a contest of skill, not a game of chance. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.
- Organizer: 4Wheels.com.
- Eligibility: open to individuals 18 or older (or the age of majority where they live) in jurisdictions where skill contests are lawful. Employees and contractors of 4Wheels, sponsors of the current month and their immediate households are not eligible.
- Entry period: each monthly contest opens at 12:00 am on the first day of the month and closes at 11:59 pm on the last day, entrant's local time.
- Limit: one entry per person per category per month. Duplicate or automated entries are disqualified.
- Content: entries must be your own original work, must not infringe anyone's rights, must not show unsafe or illegal driving, and must be suitable for a general audience. People shown must have agreed to appear.
- Judging: creativity and originality (40%), relevance to the category (30%), and quality of execution (30%). The judges' decisions are final.
- Winners: notified by email within 14 days after the close and must reply within 7 days, or an alternate winner may be chosen. Winners in some jurisdictions may need to answer a skill-testing question.
- Prizes: as listed on this page for the month. Prizes are not transferable. Winners are responsible for any taxes. If a prize cannot be delivered, 4Wheels may substitute one of equal or greater value.
- Licence: you keep ownership of your entry. By entering you allow 4Wheels to display it, with credit to you, on its website, newsletter and social channels for promotion of the contest.
- Privacy: entry details are used to run the contest and contact winners, as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Changes: 4Wheels may cancel or modify a contest if fraud, technical failure or other causes affect its integrity, and will post any change on this page.
